In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top news and magazine applications on the Android platform in Saudi Arabia showed varied performance according to Sensor Tower data.

X (Formerly Twitter) experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $33.2K in early December. Downloads remained relatively stable throughout the quarter, with a noticeable rise to approximately 41.4K by the end of December. However, active users saw a decline from 8.1M to about 6.7M by the end of the quarter.

Le Monde, Live News maintained a steady revenue stream, reaching $288 in mid-December. Download numbers were modest, peaking at 46 in mid-October, while active users showed an increase, hitting 432 at the start of December.

NYTimes: US and Global News saw fluctuations in revenue, with a high of $272 at the end of November. Downloads varied, with a peak of 86 in early November, while active users showed a slight increase in early November to 153 before declining to 99 by the end of December.

Bloomberg: Finance Market News had a significant revenue spike to $305 in early December, although downloads and active users remained relatively steady at 37 and 164, respectively, around the same period.

The Wall Street Journal. News experienced a gradual increase in revenue, reaching $151 in early December. Downloads peaked at 104 in early November, while active users increased to 169 in the same period.
